The Islamic OpportunityLast month I met with other ministers in Western Canada and we discussed the changing population of the west. According to statistics Islam is gaining dramatically and Christianity is decreasing. The reason is simply that Islamic people have 6-8 children per household while North Americans have about 2 children per household. The verdict is that within 30 years Canada, United States, England, and much of Europe will all be Islamic states without a shot ever being made.As Christians we have three choices.
1. We can do nothing and let this happen. We can stick our heads in the sand and declare this is not a real threat and continue to spend our evenings watching TV and ushering children to sporting events, and live the good life as long as we are able.
2. We could become political activists and use these channels to try and affect our world. Honestly though, the forces are already in motion. It is not likely that Muslims will be removed from our borders anyway in a tolerant and free will society.
3. We can acknowledge the situation and choose to view this as the greatest opportunity for evangelism that the West has ever encountered. We can learn about this culture and prepare for evangelism outreaches with intent and purpose and we can change the history of the world, not with physical weapons, but with the weapons of love, grace and the Word of God.
A prayer for Iran
With political unrest in Iran, calls for prayer for this nation have been increasing in many Christian movements. Several times we have been asked to pound heaven on behalf of Iran. We do agree that it is a powerful thing when evangelists pray. It does shake the world. So we wanted to encourage all of our members to pray into this as well.
Remember when the wall came down in Germany. So many thought it would never happen. But some kept praying. And God moved. In a day the world changed.
Remember apartheid and Nelson Mandela sentenced to life in prison. Many kept praying and in one day everything changed.
Remember the cult “The Worldwide Church of God” with Herbert Armstrong. In a moment God raised up a new leader within that movement and thousands were converted to a solid Christian faith in days.
Remember in Cuba when Billy Graham wanted to do a crusade and Fidel Castro had been killing and imprisoning Christians. I was actually at a prayer meeting where we prayed that Fidel’s family members would get saved and that things would change. Within a few weeks it was announced that his sister had gotten saved and that Billy Graham had been invited to do a crusade!!! Prayer changes things.
Many times Christians have prayed for Muslims and as a result Islamic people have encountered Jesus through visions, miracles and even angelic manifestations. So let us pray for Iran right now. This one nation could change the tide of events for the entire world. Pray for them to encounter Jesus. Pray for their leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by name, for his salvation and for the salvations of those around him. Pray for angelic encounters in the streets and that people’s hearts will turn by the thousands and millions to Jesus Christ the risen King.
Also ask others to pray. Forward this message and others like it via email, fb, twitter and other medias. Let’s use prayer to change the events in Iran. Let’s join our prayers to the prayers of Christians around the world and really make waves of impact around the world.

Prayer Needs
1. That we would hear from God clearly as we make plans of strategy to multiply house churches across the country. Please pray for wisdom and direction and that we have amazing times of revelation in God's presence. This is way too big a project to work without God, so we really need to hear Him. We know that nothing is accomplished outside of Him. He is awesome!
2. Unity in the team and that leaders would be willing to attend the leadership and team meetings. That everyone will catch the vision and desire to see multiplication and real disciple making through out the country. That the five fold ministry would be raised up and released to equip the saints.
3. The immediate expansion of our regions in the Foothills, Calgary, Ottawa Valley, and Okanogan Valley. We are praying specifically right now for more house churches and as a result we know that we have two more starting for sure in November. Both are in Calgary. One in Cannon Meadows and the other is in the far NW by the ski hill.

Ottawa Valley Prayer Needs
Hello I am Pastor Jamie from Carlton Place, Ontario in the Ottawa Valley. Me and my wife Lorraine are crying out for the habitation of God. We are longing for God in our midst.
We are believing for salvation of the lost. And we need harvest hands, (leaders, helpers,worship leaders, guitar and keyboard players, children workers, and people who are FAT- Faithful, Available, Teachable
Unity, Finances, He is the God of more than enough.
Multiplication of House Churches (leaders, hosts) in Carleton Place, Almonte and area. God has spoken to me about the area.

Favor with God and man
Prayer For The Pastor 1. Wisdom and discernment. I always want to enquire of the Lord for his blueprint and strategy. 2. Favor on the streets with people and businesses. 3. Fruits and gifts of the Spirit. 4. Power, presence, and prophetic, evangelism and encounters. Lots of them! 5. Protection for family, each member coming into their God given purpose and destiny. 6. Divine connections, and favor with the right people. 7. My relationship with God, I want to know Him more, love him more.
Praise Reports
1. Larry and Johann DeWolfe have committed to joining our team ad have been partnering with us as we have been making our expansion plans. They are planning to help us develop the Foothills region and are beginning to do the leg work to see some new house churches planted in Black Diamond, Turner Valley and Okotoks. They could use your prayers too in the coming months.
2. A contact that was made a few months ago on the internet has proven to be quite fruitful. A pastor from India asked for our training material and wanted to translate it into his native language. We gladly offered him all of our lessons and training material. He then took it and had it made into a book. He made 1000 copies and is now in the process of training 1000 pastors to run house churches in India. Now that is going to be some multiplication when those groups graduate new leaders in a year and a half from now!
His name is Pastor Samuel if you want to pray for him and one need that he has right now is for some finances.
